1. Overview
Fun Center Pro provides SMS/text messaging functionality that may allow businesses using the platform to send communications to their customers. These SMS Terms supplement the Fun Center Pro Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Types of Messages
Depending on how a business uses Fun Center Pro, SMS messages may include:
- booking confirmations
- booking updates
- event reminders
- pre-event confirmation requests
- balance or payment reminders
- cancellation or rescheduling notices
- customer-service messages
- requested notifications
- review or feedback requests where consent permits
- promotional or marketing messages only when appropriate consent has been obtained
Not every customer receives every type of message. Message types depend on the recipient's relationship with the business, the services used, and the consents obtained.
3. Consent to Receive SMS
Recipients must consent to applicable SMS communications before messages are sent where required by law. Consent may be collected through methods such as:
- an online booking form
- a web form
- direct interaction with venue staff
- verbal consent where permitted
- texting a designated number
- another clearly disclosed opt-in method
Businesses using Fun Center Pro are responsible for collecting and maintaining legally sufficient consent for the messages they send.
4. Transactional vs. Marketing Messages
Operational or transactional messages relate to an existing interaction, booking, payment, or customer-service request. Marketing or promotional communications are intended to advertise products, services, offers, or events.
Marketing or promotional SMS should only be sent when appropriate consent has been obtained. Submitting a phone number in connection with a booking or inquiry does not, by itself, create blanket consent to receive marketing messages.
5. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the recipient's bookings, requests, interactions, and the communications selected by the business using Fun Center Pro. We do not promise a specific number of texts per month.
6. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Charges are determined by the recipient's mobile carrier and plan. Fun Center Pro does not control carrier pricing.
7. Opt-Out
Recipients may reply STOP to opt out of applicable SMS communications. Other recognized opt-out keywords may also be processed where supported.
After an opt-out request is received, a final confirmation message may be sent. Businesses should not continue sending applicable messages to a recipient who has opted out unless that recipient later provides valid consent again.
8. Help
Recipients may reply HELP for assistance where supported.
Because Fun Center Pro does not yet have a dedicated public support email or phone number, none is listed here. Additional support channels will be published through shared legal configuration as they become available.
9. No Purchase Requirement
Consent to receive marketing or promotional SMS is not a condition of purchasing goods or services, except where otherwise permitted by applicable law and clearly disclosed.
10. Mobile Information and Consent Privacy
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information may be provided to telecommunications providers, messaging providers such as Twilio, infrastructure vendors, and other service providers only as reasonably necessary to deliver, secure, or support the messaging service.
11. Business Responsibilities
Businesses using Fun Center Pro's messaging features are responsible for:
- obtaining appropriate consent
- maintaining consent records
- honoring opt-outs
- sending lawful content
- complying with applicable messaging rules
- keeping customer contact information accurate
- not sending spam or deceptive messages
12. Prohibited Messaging
Users must not use Fun Center Pro SMS functionality to send:
- spam
- phishing
- fraudulent messages
- harassment
- unlawful content
- deceptive promotions
- malicious links
- messages to unlawfully obtained contact lists
- messages designed to evade carrier or platform restrictions
13. Carrier and Network Limitations
SMS delivery is not guaranteed. Carriers may delay, block, filter, or reject messages. Recipient devices may be unavailable. Carrier rules may change. Fun Center Pro does not control wireless carriers and cannot promise universal delivery.
14. Messaging Provider
Fun Center Pro may use third-party communications providers, including providers such as Twilio, to transmit messages. Carrier and provider requirements may apply. Twilio is not guaranteed to be the exclusive provider forever.
15. Suspension of Messaging
Fun Center Pro may restrict or disable messaging functionality when reasonably necessary because of:
- suspected spam
- unusually high complaint rates
- carrier requirements
- regulatory concerns
- abuse
- security risks
- violation of these SMS Terms or the Terms of Service
16. Changes to SMS Programs
Businesses may change the types of SMS communications they send, and Fun Center Pro may modify messaging functionality over time. Recipients should be provided appropriate disclosures and consent opportunities where required.
17. Changes to These SMS Terms
Fun Center Pro may update these SMS Terms periodically. The Last Updated date shown near the top of this page will be revised when changes are made.
18. Relationship to Other Policies
These SMS Terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict, the applicable terms will be interpreted as consistently as possible.
